Reminders

There are many things in my life since I left ONT that remind me of ONT again. There are centain thing, smells that bring me back and it has always comforted me and warmed my heart:
Campfires and the smell of wood burning
Windmills which remind me of the arts and craft windmill
Haunted houses as I am always reminded of the one up the hill from camp
Stars which remind me of the beautiful night sky
Log cabins
Pinecones and fir trees and the smell of pine
Salamanders which ran around abundantly
Vesper songs
Indian items especially tomtoms
Earth smell Taps Flag raising and lowering
Black and red plaid lumber jackets
Rhubarb as Mrs. Kading always made jello and added it
Snapdragons which Mrs. Kading always grew
Turquoise jewelry
Mountains
Blue sky
Night sky
Sleeping Bags
Lakes
Totem Poles
Freezing temperature
Army wool blankets
Smell of kerosene and kerosene lanters
Camp songs

Marshmallows
Smores
Hot chocolate
Welsh rarebit
Apple Brown Betty
Corn Beef Hash
Gingerbread with lemon sauce
Cinnamon toast
Cornbread with honey
Peach toastites
Macaroni and cheese

Friendship
Warmth

Smell of fresh grass, especially the onion grass smell
Smell of oregano as there was a field on the mountain that had this delicious oregano growing wild
