| ALUMNAE ALBUMSAll alumnae are welcome to create their own photo albums and post photographs you'd like to share that might not fall into the other categories. These albums are open for viewing to all registered Photo Gallery members.

| PHOTO GALLERY ASSISTANCE"Assistance" is not an album. I'm using this space to provide some info.

IF YOU'VE FORGOTTEN THE NAME YOU USED TO REGISTER, GO TO THE MAIN WEBSITE [GVFCAMPSALUMNI DOT COM], THERE YOU WILL SEE IT LISTED ON THE PHOTOS PAGE. TYPE IT EXACTLY AS YOU SEE IT, INCLUDING CASE AND SPACES.
The Photo Gallery and Community Forum are not integrated modules, as a result they require individual registration, although you may use the same name and password for both. Registration is free.
If you can't log on, make sure your "Cookies" are enabled. To enable cookies, select "Tools" from your Internet Explorer menu bar. Tools, then Internet Options, then Security, select Custom Level, then scroll down to Cookies. Select Enable or Prompt, to allow cookies to be stored on your computer. This will help the Gallery identify you if you forget your password.
You must be registered and logged in to view albums, leave comments, create albums, upload pictures, view the members list, send ecards, etc. Registration is free.
To Register:
Click on "Register". Fill out the four required items on the registration form. An email will be sent to the email address with which you registered . Click on the link included in that email in order for your registration to be complete. When your registration is complete you may login and take full advantage of the features included in the Photo Album module. Login is case-sensitive, meaning upper and lower case letters must match exactly.
To Access Albums:
The galleries are listed under "Category" on this first page. The gallery titles are listed with black text. The album titles contained within the individual galleries are listed with blue text, but you won't see that level unless you are logged-in.
Select and go to a gallery by clicking on the gallery title. This will take you to a page of album titles and thumbnail images. Each thumbnail in a gallery represents a separate album within that gallery.
Double click on a thumbnail picture to select an album within the gallery, this will display all the images, as thumbnails, contained within the selected album.
Click twice on the very first thumbnail to enlarge the image to its normal size, then use the "previous" and "next" arrows in the viewer frame to click through the images of the album.
Don't forget to scroll to the bottom of the page where you can click on numbered tabs to move on to the next page of the larger albums. This is especially helpful if you've clicked on the "Most Viewed" section, where there are over 20 pages of photographs.
To return to any point along the path you took to get to the album, click on its name in the file path. The file path is located on the darker sage green bar and will look something like this: HOME > GVF CAMPS > Manitou > Unidentified Campers, etc.
Use your browser to leave the Gallery and return to www.gvfcampsalumni.com
SAVE and PRINT: Would you like to download and print any of the photographs displayed here?
Right click on your mouse, and select "Save Picture As", then select a folder on your computer in which you'd like to save the photograph. Voila. You now have a copy on your own computer. This trick is not unique to the Photo Gallery, it can be used on almost any graphic on the internet. Newer operating systems will also display options for graphics, including printing, saving, emailing, etc.
ECARDS: You can email a photograph from a photo album directly by clicking on the ECARD icon (an envelope) which is to the left of the photo navigation arrows just above the photo you are viewing. A text box will appear, type the recipient's email address, a subject line, and the message you'd like to accompany the photo you're sending.
"RECENT UPLOADS" if you've spent time here before. and don't want to search through all of the albums for newer additions, click on this option.
Use "SEARCH" if you're looking for a specific person, camp or theme. Just click on "Search", then type a name or other word in the text box, and click on "submit".
MOST VIEWED
Selecting this option from the first page will bring up the Most Viewed photograph thumbnails from the entire Gallery. If you select this option while in a specific category or album, it will bring up the thumbnails of the most viewed in that category or album. Again, for full size images, just click on the thumbnail image.
If you receive the message "No Images to Display", it usually means you are not logged in.
