Glenn
Perry Kauth 54,
of Eastchester passed away December 31, 2005,
at
Calvary Hospital in the Bronx.
Glenn grew up in Scarsdale, graduating in 1969 from
Scarsdale High School.
Glenn was very active in group camping for inner-
city youth for much of his life.
After graduating from San Francisco State University,
he returned
to Westchester and directed Camp Kiwago in Bear Mountain
State Park
for several years in the mid- seventies.
He touched the lives of literally thousands of children.
Although he left camping to work in the computer field,
he continued to be a strong advocate as well as an
advisor
to the former Boys' Athletic League in New York City.
Surviving are his loving wife, Anne Levine Kauth;
and
two children, Dara Kauth of New York City,
and Jeffrey Kauth - currently a junior at Cornell
University.
Also surviving are brothers Larry and Chris and sister
Donna.
