Dorothea Kauth grew up in Crestwood, New York. She attended
Eastchester High School, where she met Donald and the two married soon after.

Dot (as she was known by her friends) graduated from
Grasslands Nursing Center in Valhalla, New York where she received
her RN degree. She worked as a nurse in New York and Philadeplphia for
several years and spent her summers as the nurse at Camp Kiwago while
Donald served as the director.

Her nursing career ended when she decided to devote all her time to
raising her four children. Dot thoroughly enjoyed this task.

Dot will be remembered for her gourmet cooking,
sense of humor and hospitality to all those who had the
fortune of knowing her.

She was the perfect mom... just as her children!
