In 1936 Mr. Denton worked for the Girls' Vacation Fund,
Inc. Recreation Center on
10th Avenue and 49th Street and the Tot Lot on 49th
and 10th during the winter months. Thursday night was
silent movie night and Mr. Denton set up the screen,
ran the projector and passed out refreshments. In the
summer he was caretaker for Manitou and Talako, running
to town for items the staff needed. He returned to Montana
with his daughter when he became ill and he died in
their care.
